Nicole Singer grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In April, 2017, through NSCAD University in Halifax, NS, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Jewellery and Metal Smithing and a minor in Art History. After moving back to Toronto, ON, Nicole continued her studies, working to acquire a Diploma in Gemmology from the Canadian Gemmology Association in 2018, and a certificate in Diamond Grading.

 

Nicole’s work focuses on the combination of enamel, acrylic plastic and glass to create unique visual effects with light. She is inspired by optical illusions, human visual perception and its limitations.
