About Me.
Nicole Singer grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In April, 2017, through NSCAD University in Halifax, NS, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Jewellery and Metal Smithing and a minor in Art History. After university, Nicole continued her studies in Gemmology and Diamonds, acquiring a FCGmA in 2018, her FGA in 2022 and her DGA in 2023. Nicole currently lives and works in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Nicole’s work focuses on the combination of enamel, acrylic plastic and glass to create unique visual effects with light. She is inspired by optical illusions, human visual perception and its limitations.
